I enjoyed the lessons because they were organised and easy to follow. The smaller class sizes meant I could ask questions more easily and get support whenever I needed help. Thank you to all my teachers at Nexus Science Academy.

What if I am doing my IGCSEs over two years, not one?

Arrow icon

For most subjects, students can choose between our 1-Year and 2-Year IGCSE timetables. The 2-Year timetable is designed to build strong foundations from Year 9, while the 1-Year timetable provides a more focused, exam-driven route to complete the course in one year. Subjects cannot be mixed between timetables. This ensures every student can follow a pathway that best suits their starting point and learning pace.

Which year groups do you accept and which subjects do you offer?

Arrow icon

Years 7–8: Science, English and Mathematics, designed to build strong foundational knowledge and prepare students for IGCSE study. Years 9–11 (IGCSE): Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, English, Mathematics, ICT, Business Studies, Computer Science.
Students can choose either our IGCSE 1-Year timetable or IGCSE 2-Year timetable. Subjects cannot be mixed between timetables. The 1-Year pathway is designed for examinations at the end of the academic year, while the 2-Year pathway builds knowledge gradually from Year 9 and prepares students for examinations over two years.
Years 12–13 (IAL): Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Mathematics. Courses are offered at both IAS and IA2 level, supporting students through their full A Level pathway.

What are the tutors like?

Arrow icon

Nexus Science Academy was founded by experienced British-trained teachers with experience supporting students across international schools in Kuwait, the wider Middle East, and the UK. Our team includes a Pearson International School Teacher Award winner and teachers whose students have achieved world-highest Cambridge and Edexcel examination results. Our lessons are clear, structured, and focused on developing strong subject knowledge, exam success, and academic confidence. All tutors have experience supporting a diverse range of learners and are DBS checked.

Do you do one-to-one tuitions?

What if I forget to complete the enrolment form after payment?

Arrow icon

Don’t worry, we have your phone number and email address. A member of our team will be in contact to collect the remaining details.

Can I just pay for one term?

Arrow icon

You are welcome to enrol for a single term, and there is no obligation to commit to all three terms. However, our programmes are designed as complete courses, spanning either one or two academic years depending on the programme selected. We therefore strongly recommend completing the full programme to achieve the best results. We also offer multi-subject packages at a reduced rate. In addition, we offer shorter programmes: IGCSE Intensive (approximately 6 weeks) Designed for students preparing for IGCSE October/November resit examinations. IGCSE Exam Booster (approximately 6 weeks) Runs during the May/June exam period, focusing on past paper practice, exam technique, and maximising performance in final examinations.
